The Hip Hop Studies department was founded in 1997 with a hefty grant from the Universal Zulu Nation and the estate of the late Darren "Buffy, the Human Beat Box" Robinson.
The goal of the Hip Hop Studies Department at BYC is to bring Hip Hop Scholarship to northern Utah in a safe, morally appropriate, family-friendly way.
In the words of the Sugar Hill Gang:
"Skiddlee beebop a we rock a Scoobie Doo and guess what America we love you!"
Brigham Young College does not currently maintain a website, so we must use 'blogger' to disseminate important information.

Hi this is Joel walsh. I am in your HHS 152 class. I did not recieve my paper in discussion on friday and I was wondering if you had graded it yet. The title was "Bay Area Mormons and the 'Sacred Goggles of John Smith': The Theological Justification for 'Stunner Shades'. " I will be in class on Monday, or at church at 6 in the morning. thank you sir.
